  1. The top nine players in points at the end of the season will play in a final table playoff to determine the winners of the seat packages to compete in Las Vegas .  At the final table at the end of the season each player will start with 5000 chips plus an additional 5 chips for every point they accumulate.  If a player has 420 points, they would receive an additional 2100 chips for a total of 7100 chips.
  1. The top finishers in the final tournament will be awarded a seat package that includes entry in to a Word Series of Poker 2010 $1500 dollar tournament, airfare, lodging, and expenses.  The number of seat packages to be awarded is based upon the participation level in each event.  As many seat packages will be awarded as possible based upon the final prize pool.  (If we have 12 players every month for 13 months we would be able to award 4 seat packages).  There is no cash option for the tournament seat.  Winners are also not allowed to sell, barter or trade their seat.
  1. If a winner of a seat package cashes in their event, they will be required to pay 1% (post-tax) of their winnings to each player that has played in at least 8 games in the league. The assumed tax rate will be 35%. (e.x. You win $10,000 in the event, and after taxes the amount is $6,500 est. and we have 14 players that played 8 games, each of the 14 players would be due $65 dollars for a total of $910). All players participating in the league must sign a contract prior to their first game played, agreeing to these terms and conditions.
  1. All tournaments rules and policies will be based on the official CPA Rules.  Players arriving late to a tournament must call ahead to reserve a seat.  Players who call ahead to reserve a seat are making a commitment to purchase the chip stack. Official CPA rules can be found at http://www.championshippokerassoc.com/Pages/cpa-rules.htm
  1. All monies will be held in a club bank account by the club caretaker Mark M. Account information will be provided upon request.
  1.  In the event the Vegas League cannot continue because of lack of participation or other reasons, all accumulated funds will be distributed to the players based upon their accrued points.  (Paid out based on accumulated points to all players that have played in the league).

  2. The CPA is not affiliated nor has no connection with the World Series of Poker.  The leadership and tournament directors of the CPA will hold tournaments and make rulings to the best of their abilities under the rules that are in place.  The ruling of tournament director and/or CPA leadership is final.  The CPA is not responsible for any damages or injuries that may occur from playing in the tournaments or while traveling.
